Welcome to the Alta Murrieta Elementary PTA
We are planning on a great school year for the entire Alta community, full of fun new possibilities and the continuation of our favorite traditions.
The 2024-2025 Alta Murrieta Elementary School (AMES) PTA looks forward to working with our Principal, Mrs. Cassandra Caldwell, as well as all staff, teachers, students and parents, in new, creative ways. BUT WE NEED YOU!!
Who We Are
The AMES PTA is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) comprised of parents, guardians, family members, teachers and staff affiliated with Alta Murrieta Elementary School, working together to build community through school events, committees, and initiatives.
What We Do
The PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering students, families, and communities in education. We work year-round to build a strong community and raise funds to support our school, educators, and students.
Our main fundraising source is the Annual Fun Run in November, as well as various Restaurant Nights throughout the year. Through these efforts and relationships, we help fund many offerings and programs. Additionally, throughout the year we host events to help our community connect with and get to know one another.
PTA Membership is only $8/year and you get to:

Why PTA?
Do it for your child. Research shows that kids do better in school when parents are involved. Grades are higher and test scores improve. By becoming a PTA member, you are demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.
Do it for the school. By developing a closer relationship with parents, student achievement improves, and the school develops a positive reputation in the community. Parents involved in PTA understand the challenges schools face and become part of the solution. They support improving education, both locally and legislatively.
Do it for your community. Your participation improves your child’s school and our larger Alta Murrieta Elementary community. We are a community, and we need everyone to get involved.
Do it for you. Becoming involved in the PTA gets you connected to other parents in the AMES community. There is no better way to know what is happening in your school. Regularly scheduled meetings are an opportunity for you to learn, share, and participate.
